아이엘츠(IELTS) 셀프 스터디 + 아이엘츠 Tips(Speaking 6)

 

예전에 필리핀에서 2달 정도 스파르타로 공부를 한 적이 있어서 그간 공부했던 내용을 정리할 겸 이번에 학교 졸업을 위해서 또 성적이 필요해졌기 때문에 공책 정리를 온라인(블로그)으로 옮기는 일을 해볼까 합니다. 순전 개인적인 용도이며 고작 2달간 배운 것이기 때문에 잘 못 된 부분이 많이 있을 수 있는 점 양해 부탁드립니다.

 

어제는 아이엘츠 스피킹의 실전 예문을 알아보았다면 왜 그런 식으로 말하게 되었는지에 대한 분석을 간략하게 해 보겠습니다. 

 

 

아이엘츠에서는 단어의 중복, 구와 접속사의 반복을 싫어한다.라는 기초적인 정보부터 꼭 알아야 할 정보까지!! Let's go~!

 

아래의 구는 When we explain our opinion / simple topics에 서 사용할 때 처음에 오면 좋은 문장입니다.

중복되는 단어를 피하기 위해서 알아두어야 할 유사 어구

best place -> dream destination

understand -> to further understand, to have a deeper understanding about

check -> know

because -> since, as, the reason is that, this is because

sometimes -> at the time, every now and then

 

Type "1" use to talk about facts

- If + present form, present simple

ex)

If I see an accident, I call the police.

If you are not feeling well, you can call in sick. 

 

Type "2" use to talk about the future(possibility)

- If + present simple, will(won't) + base verb

ex)

If it rains tonight, I won't go out.

If I see him, I will tell him that you are looking for him. 

 

Type "3" use to talk about future(impossibility / improbability)

- If + past simple, would + base verb

ex)

If all people could play football like a pro(then), people would never be interested in their game.

 

Type "4" use to talk about regret

- If + past perfect, would have pp

ex)

If I had studied hard last night, I would have passed my exam.

 

Tip!

1. Avoid "because" as much as possible. Explain

ex)

I like summer because I go to the beach.

I like summer during this season I go to the beach. 

2. Don't directly answer the question use fillers like: well.../ repeating the question... first.
