아이엘츠(IELTS) 셀프 스터디 + 아이엘츠 Tips(Speaking 5)

 

예전에 필리핀에서 2달 정도 스파르타로 공부를 한 적이 있어서 그간 공부했던 내용을 정리할 겸 이번에 학교 졸업을 위해서 또 성적이 필요해졌기 때문에 공책 정리를 온라인(블로그)으로 옮기는 일을 해볼까 합니다. 순전 개인적인 용도이며 고작 2달간 배운 것이기 때문에 잘 못 된 부분이 많이 있을 수 있는 점 양해 부탁드립니다.

 

이전까지는 조금 기초적인 부분을 다뤘다면 이번에는 실전!!

 

오늘은 아이엘츠 Speaking Part에 대한 예문을 알아보도록 하겠습니다.

 

Speaking 예문. 

 

1. Do you think advertising influences what people buy?

(광고가 사람들이 구매하는 것에 영향을 미친다고 생각하세요?)

- Yes, definitely. If there is no advertising and you go to a shop, then you will just buy what you wanted based on maybe what others have told you, what the product looks like or depending on the product, what it says on the label. Advertising builds up(확립하다) a brand and people then trust a certain item. Because they have seen it on television or elsewhere. Also, there is so much advertising around which influence us. It is constant in(변합 없이) our daily lives not only in magazines and radio but also on billboards, television, even in schools and universities. So yes, advertising influences what we buy. 

 

2. Are there any disadvantages to shopping on the internet?

- There certainly are some. Firstly, buying clothes can be a problem. When you go into a shop, you can check what you are buying fits you and suits you but it is obviously(분명히, 확실히) not possible to do this online. Shopping does become less(덜) hassle(귀찮은 일) if you have to send something back in the post. Another problem is security. We have to give out our bank details to people who we don't know. And the last disadvantage is to society as(~으로서) it could destroy local shops and businesses if people not going out to shop in their local town. 

 

3. How do most people travel long distances in your country? 

- I'd say that the main ways are cars, buses, subway and trains. If someone has a car, I think this is their preference(프레프런스-선호되는 것) because to be honest trains are not available where I live. The buses are a bit cheaper but I don't think that is such a comfortable way to travel. Travelling by plane(비행기) is an option too but most of the budget airlines(= low-cost carrier = 저비용 항공사),  go abroad - you can't really travel that cheaply by plane within the country.
